I'm a postdoctoral researcher in the International Research Training Group "Baltic Peripeties" at the University of Greifswald researching the perception of political representation.
Before, I wrote my doctoral dissertation in the context of a french-german "Cotutelle" at the universities of Freiburg and Strasbourg. In my dissertation I have researched age-based/generational conflicts and political parties in Germany and France. This has lead to an additional research focus on party sub-organizations such as senior groups and party youth wings.
Before starting my doctoral studies, I obtained a master's degree in Global Studies, an interdisciplinary social science program offered jointly by the University of Freiburg, FLACSO Argentina in Buenos Aires and Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi. I also hold two bachelor degrees from the University of Freiburg in political science and economics.
Outside the academic sphere I'm active as a youth group leader and thus very open to collaborate on non-partisan political events for young people or first-time voters - feel free to reach out! :)
